MRE Data Store

The MRE Data Store is a private repository of data, software and achievements for research projects and their collaborating members. The goal is long-term archiving and reusability, focusing on data protection and security.

Automated collaboration with the repository is only through entry and exit points. No direct access to the repository archive is allowed.

The agent or user stores the data at the entry point, and MRE uniformly handles the data. The processing of data from the specific entry point may vary by project. The processing of data usually includes:

• validation of the data file formats,
• de-identification,
• and metadata extraction based on list of used ontologies.
• long-term data archiving.

Data exchange and sharing are made possible through exit points.

Resource Description Framework (RDF) is used for metadata. Metadata is available through (private) SPARQL Endpoints with restricted access.
